2 - Character J.F. Hire


She looks down upon the water below, eyes moving slowly from North to South; an endless blue. They're full of life and atmosphere. She comes here everyday, even at night, just to take moments to watch.

Certainly people can see her, but not a soul takes notice. Sometimes she will even watch over them, completely unmoved by the riots, the romance, and the faith. She witnesses the philosophy which channels Socrates to ponder why she is blue.

Forever walked on; looked down upon, he is treated like dirt. No matter how supportive he is, they trample him relentlessly, littering him with burden. He takes seismic punches with no more than a mere tremble.

He has been considering living underground, but overall he decides that would be beneath him.

An Sea thinks, between Terra and Sky, that Sea will always be the middle child. 
     "I will always be blue because of Sky's shade."

     "And you will always wash over me like all others," says Terra.

---

     "But mom, why is Terra and Sky and Sea so sad?" 
The mother begins to tuck her daughter in beneath Egyptian Cotton sheets, her French tips sending plasticine shivers along the small child's neck. She brushes the child's bang from her forehead, maternally. 
          "Because they don't know what happiness is, they cannot bear children to show them. And they will always be too old, and too young to realize it for themselves."
